My Bio

Hi, my name is Tristan Vesely, and I would like to welcome you to my blog. I am a senior at Las Lomas High School, and love to write creatively in a variety of ways. I love writing in poetry, with good tone and pace and the likes. My strengths as a writer are confidence in what I write and literary flow once I start writing; I never have a problem writing a story from beginning to end straight through. Sometimes I struggle with the effort of actually getting started on a piece of writing (ahem, this blog……) but when I do I usually can turn something halfway decent out with little to no effort. As a reader, I love to read basically any poetry, but I really love writing about things that I have felt in my own life. This ranges from love poems to hate poems, from poems about nature to poems about nothing. I just love to write things that I think I as a reader would love to read. Throughout this course, I’ve been surprised the level of work I can crank out when need be. Some of the deadlines came up on me quickly, but I never really struggled with getting the work done in time once I got started. I hope as I continue to grow writing will continue to be an influential part of my life, because this course has shown me just how fun and important writing really is when you do it on a daily basis.
